‘The Lads’ (in search of chicks) is a somewhat saucy, tongue in cheek piece within Paul’s Urban Collection.
The Indian runner ducks have been relocated in this instance, as he found these particular characters on a friend’s farm in Yorkshire. He painted them previously on grass setting, with the title ‘Forerunners’. Harkening back though to his times travelling the Inland waterways on his narrowboat ‘Fools Paradise?’ he witnessed similar scenes of waterfowl along the graffiti and detritus strewn towpaths. Here he has included a ‘Lads’ magazine discarded in the corner. It is a ‘sold out’ edition and very desirable on the secondary market. Look out though as you might find similar ducks in a future creation…..

Giclée Paper – Framed With Our Optional Black Polished Wooden Frame
When you select this option, your Giclée paper print will arrive to you mounted and framed, ready to hang.
Our choice of off-white mount and striking black high gloss frame suits Paul’s artwork magnificently. When you select the framed option in the drop down list, the main image will change to show you how this finished framed artwork will look.
The print is protected behind glass within the frame and your framed piece will arrive to you in sturdy cardboard packaging.

Giclée Box Canvas – Ready to Hang
When you select this option, your Giclée canvas print will arrive to you pre-stretched over a quality wooden box structure. The box structure means this option is ready to hang and you do not need an additional frame.
